    Thanks Rich,
These are great photos! This remind me when I was in college and did crazy for mountaineering…like your way, I always had a little P&S in my front pocket, so I don’t need to reload my backpack… 🙂

Great shots Rich! You have to love those blue bird days on expeditions like that!

    cool mugs.

couple of shots from last weekend…

ghost shot that blurred on me on the second exposure, which actually made it kinda cool…

another one I almost scrapped, but the more I looked at it I liked it…

Absolutely!  Although, if you look at Foraker in the first picture, anyone up there wasn’t having such a good time!

We barely made it out of there three weeks after that picture was taken.  We spent 8 hours trampling down a runway with snowshoes so the Dehavilland could land.

    Our ride in and out

The weather eventually got to us.

Climbing a ridge on Mount Francis, when there was a break in the weather.

    Philip,

So that is what green plants and running water look like!

Sorry, nothing artistic about this one, but last of the best season of winter fishing I have had.  They close the streams in March in NC and by the time they reopen these fish are back in the lake.  Some years the run is better than others, this year was it.  By the 1st Saturday in April my creek will be full of dumb stockers, screwing everything up!  “Depression sets in”.  Lucky to be able to fish through the winter and to have these fish to hunt, don’t think I am really complaining!.

I will try find some artistic shots for March, they will pale next to most though!
    Best,
    John
PS: Those glacier shots are awesome.
