I have no experience with Harry’s rod. I use a Sage Xi2 6wt for smallmouth with a 7wt line on it and it does great for smallies – wading or from a boat. They are super fast and super powerful. Plus it has a fighting butt and looks cool on a 6wt.

that’s pretty slick. I like it. Do use a polarizing filter when shooting with it?
