Hey all,

I have a question that seems somewhat related to this discussion.  I own a 4wt (Sage XP), 5wt (Winston BIIX), 6wt (XP), and 8wt (XP).  I am heading to Alaska in August and the lodge and guides there recommend 7 and 9wts.  Does anyone think there is enough of a difference between a 6-7 & an 8-9 such that I should go get new rods?

I’ll give that brown 12 pounds, 17 before he spawned, NICE FISH whatever…

I am going for tarpon in May and headed to Alaska in August.
