Zach, any chance you can tally them up, and post a list of the guys who have ordered… we can then chack off if we are on the list with the correct qty…

and will you create a billing form, etc… for us to complete, with banking details etc…

If you can still get the older Simms Freestone’s they have to be the best boots I have ever worn… imiterial about the rest of them, Freestones all the way…

I have a working pair at the moment, 3 seasons old, and my local shop has just placed an order and are going to get the new ones, so I have baught the old style, and stuck them in the box, in a safe place, so in 3 or so years the current ones call it quits, I am good to go…

9 years or so until I have to make this discidion again.

I must say that the author has an excellent ability to convey elaborate detail in very few words, he paint picture in a “3 word” phrase. I love the way it flows and quickly gets to the point, leaving you, as the reader, to think about what has just transpired.

I love the way he jumps into the piece, feet first, expecting you catch up, which you do, quickly.

The factual bits are cover with superb flow, and without the reader being bogged down by their “factualness”.

But what really intrigues me, is his use of short sentences, colons and semi-colons: Getting the reader to think, picture, place and then assume, he then elaborates on the bit that left you hanging, just enough to fill the gaps…

    Really good writing…

    Well found Zach

Great interview Zach, that is one hell of a passionate man…

Here are my 2 Zimbabwean Cents (you can look that up if you want) at least the Rand is a little stronger…

Anyone who is that good at what he does, loves “it” more than anything else…and would take pictures over anything…

Anyone who is that free-a-spirit, is going to be awesome at what ever he puts his hand to…

I would love to take pictures like that, but I would prefer to be the guide he is photographing…

Who do you want to be????

Let me start off by saying “I am not a tosser” (nic for Chuck Nymphers) Chuck, yes, my spelling is very poor something to do with Dyslexia, but Chuck is the style of the fishing…

It is used extensively in SA fishing for Small Mouth Yellow Fish, there is a huge amount of skill in it, the guys get completely taken away with the flies, the leaders, the rods, hell everything… there are web site devoted to it…

But I don’t like it… because you are just chucking the leader… fly fishing is about more than that…

Ha ha… 32deg Celcius here today, sitting in shorts and a t-shirt…

Winter is not too bad, day temps will be between 15 and 25deg Celcius, but evenings will get to 0 to 5 C…

Still fish in winter, that when the beasts come out to play, Largemouth Yellowfish…

    Mike

Here is a small one… taken in summer…

Zach – Check the other pics, it is very similar to the fish those crazy guys were talking about in Mongolia. Eyes on top of their head, get up 60lbs (25kg’s x 2.2lbs)… attack anything on the surface… and I havent landed a dog yet

I would comment on all the pod casts, I just got an Ipod this year, didn’t think it was necessary, till I bought my wife one, down-loaded one of your shows, and bought my own the next day… she only wanted a nano, I got the 80gig… hehe… she is in advertising, and keeps asking if I have heard her new radio add, but the only thing I listen to is your freaking shows…

    Any way, back on thread…

Could you add a tag to the bottom of your web post, were you post the casts, with the web addresses mentioned in the cast, I know there are other links there, but not the ones mentioned… I can’t write them down in the car, so I have to pause, stop, go back on the ipod, write it down, then carry on… I am arriving late for work, meetings, etc…

    Thanks Zach

PS. I have a few South African guys who would love to be on your show… Either about the Striped Water Dog, just north of SA, or about the salt water flats, they have just taken, Mr. Spanish Fly on a little trip, you might want to talk to them about that… anywhoo, you got my mail address, I can point you at their site, the books they have published, etc…
