There’s rivers close by to the Nashville area that you can chase Striper, Smallmouth, and Muskie. There’s a couple local shops that guide, Flysouth and Jones fly company.
As far as live music, there’s many a stones throw away from each other down on lower Broadway. I like Roberts Western World, they have an awesome house band. I enjoy Layla’s as well, but there are plenty to chose from.
For eats I like Jacks BBQ, Broadway brew house, and a nicer joint being the Southern. These are all in walking distance of the music venues. I live about 15 min south of Nashville so don’t hesitate if you have anymore questions about the area.
Thanks for all the insight, just a follow up on the trip. Had a great time doing a whole lot of nothing! Was able to get out on the Toccoa 3 times during the week and caught fish at every spot. Threw a hopper/dropper rig and had a lot of fun slinging my 4 weight. Seemed to catch more size towards the dam and the smaller stockers further downstream. Will be in Atlanta in a couple weeks for a few days and I am gonna try to fish the Hooch one of the days. That river will be another first for me so I am pretty pumped. Hopefully the dam releases will cooperate!
