MemberI’m Mark Craig. I’m 40 and live in Acworth Georgia. I’m known on most boards as Kayakerguy. I’m recently married to my wife Trish.
I’m a Jack of all trades, and a Master of nothing. I help manage a fly shop in Cartersville (Highland Outfitters), and guide when not in the shop. I also build and restore rods; bamboo, graphite & glass, and tie most of the flies I use. I chose this path as my career after an illness ended a very promising career in the healthcare field.
I’m lucky in that My wife enjoys to fly fish with me, but what she enjoys more than that is fly tying. She has come up with some very productive original patterns. We also enjoy photography (which is what brought us together) and videography.
Most of our fishing is done in North Ga. as well as Tenn. & N.C. with some farther trips sprinkled around from time to time. My wife is from Mobile Al. so it’s actually fun to visit the in-laws. This gets me closer to the sea trout and reds.mark craig
MemberZack, I was hoping to make the casting get together but was in WV Labor day weekend. Let me know if you put another one together in the future. There is also a get together at the Buford hatchery scheduled for sunday sept. 23rd from 1-4pm. If you can make it that would be great. As usual I will bring video and photo equip. to anylize the casting. I would also like to put together a short demo video if I can get enough footage of different casters. I put one together recently that I edited overnight, but the next one will have much better editing done to it. This is a link to the video of the last get together. http://www.streamsidedesign.com/video/castingclub01.wmv

MemberThe closest place is Camera World in Marietta, but I havn’t been too happy with them. I usually use Wings camera in Atl. off of the 85/ Clairmont exit. Showcase is also good. It’s off of treasure bridge rd.
