    Good PodCast!

I learned a few things and I fish with Randy a few times a month. He knows his stuff.

The White River or Norfork tail waters in Arkansas are the only water I know of with all species of trout. They have bookies and big browns. No doubt there is a world record swimming around in there.

This water is BIG and has big fish.

    Thanks Zach!

Dusty, depending on what your in-laws have in mind for a their fishing trip there are many options from Branson.

    Zach

I have the 13.5 ft Tenkara now and I use it for tight line nymphing. I actually prefer it. You have a light set up and still can use a 20’+ leader. I use the colored “sighter” line all the way to the last 6′ or so.

You cant chuck big nasty stones but you can feel two #16 beadheads load this rod and then each and every tick on the bottom you feel as well.

I totally recommend them! I greatly enjoy the simplicity and stealth that is requried to approach fish in this method.

I will also say for you midge fishers you can make cast it without spooking fish on the slickest clearest water you can find. then with such a fine tip you can make it tap dance on the water. Fish cant pass this up.

I still want to land a 20” on it. I’ve landed 16”s without much problem though you may have to pull the “River Runs Through It” if you stick a big one.

All in all it is something worth having in the pack.

I liked the shots, those browns are beautiful!

May I ask what stream you were on. Me and a few friends are going to WI around the first of June and are looking for info on good streams to cast the longrods.

    Thanks
