Hi everyone,
I figured that since the Podcast is going live on Monday, I’d stick my head in and see what else Zach had going on with the rest of his site…
First of all, thanks for the interview, Zach. It was a good time, and I appreciate it. Hope we get to actually do some fishing together (versus just talking fishing).
I do hope that the Podcast is at least entertaining. 30 minutes fly by pretty fast, and the thing felt like it was over barely after it began!
Darrin, Neal, Andrew–Thank you for the kind comments. It is good to hear that the book (etc.) has actually been useful in the real world. And Andrew, yes, there is something in the works that addresses both of your concerns about Nature. It’s a ways off, but definitely moving ahead. I also wanted to get more into Nature (especially more Spey/Spey-related skills and more complete modular integration), but time ran out.
Drifter–The old guy does indeed look like Letterman (some of his students used to call him Prof. Letterman). In fact, he’s been on the show in a “rigged” look-a-like contest. When he came on stage, he did a pantomimed fly cast, which likely went right on past about 99.99 percent of viewers…
“Talk” to you all on Monday, and thanks again, Zach!
My best,
Jason Borger
