Is there anywhere that I can access your article on silly putty spoon flies and/or buy the past edition?  I wasn’t interested in tying spoon flies at the time, but am leaning that way now.

Just curious — are you in a position to compare your method to some of the methods involving clear cure goo?  (I was also considering buying some of the Dupree blades if I decide to make my own)

My biggest concern at this point is blowing a chance at a good fish because my homemade fly doesn’t wobble correctly.

I recently subscribed to the Fly Tyer’s e-Edition through iTunes.

I own a litespeed 1.5 and a 3.5.  The 3.5 has been used and abused for over 10 years and it has not lost a step.  Nothin but Lamson love round here.

I own two Lamsons, a Litespeed 1.5 used for trout and older model Velocity for Steelhead.

I’m another Simms Rivershed guy and am extremely pleased.  Mine are the First Gen version with Aquastealth and studs.  Making a transition from felt to rubber came with a brief period of adjustment time but I’m glad I took the plunge.

I fish mostly small backcountry streams, larger creeks/rivers with rough freestone stream terrain and am quite pleased with their grip, support and comfort.  What I love most is that I can fish in the winter and snow no longer sticks to my boots! ;D  Also love that they don’t hold much if any water weight.
