Sorry to necro a four year old post, but when you google search my old handle this is the post that pops up.  I wanted to attempt to clear my name because everytime I look at this forum I remember everything that happened.

NetSol was in the wrong.  They got hacked and instead of taking the blame themselves they blamed the user.  The email that was posted above was a batch of automated emails that got sent out to hundreds of people, as you may have known.  My role was to be the messenger and send those emails, since I was the “hosting guy”.  It was what was best for the company and it kept me employed.  It did not take the end user into consideration, but since we had cleared that hack from the system we figured all was well anyways and not many people would complain.  In hindsight, not many did.  

I have always prided myself on good customer service, something which was not followed through with in this instance.  Sometimes you have to do what you have to do to keep your job.  I’m sorry about what transpired.  I only hope by publishing the truth of the matter I can somehow be redeemed on the internet, an unforgiving place.  

Since that time NetSol laid off my group and I have gained employment with another major company which must go unnamed due to an NDA.  I am happy to report that I now do what is in the customer’s best interest and the corporate policy is above and beyond anything NetSol ever provided.  Even if I cannot redeem myself via your forum, I do feel like in the real world I am redeemed.
