Yeah…this Midwest Yankee (Michigan) living in the South was just keeping it real with some green vegetables on the plate.
OK…I had no idea that this thread would end up being hijacked for macaroni and cheese pie photos!!!
The following photos are macaroni and cheese pies that I’ve thrown together while on fishing trips with PoudreRiver and our friend Dave.
I always start the year with very good intentions to spend a lot of time on the pond…and it usually gets pushed aside for other things. It is a clear water pond…which is kind of unusual for down here.
Carter…there are pickerel in the pond…as well as largemouth bass, bream, crappie, and catfish.
David…if I could figure out how to send a macaroni and cheese pie through the mail…PoudreRiver would have one pie a week on order. He’s a big fan. I might be able to message you the recipe if you like.
Oh, Carter, I was using the Nikon D70s last night.

Yeah…our daughter was tossing tight loops at 12 months with the ol’ yellow stick. Ha…
I have been surprised with her interest already in the fly boxes, rods, and reels. I am hoping that she’ll be naturally drawn to fly fishing. She couldn’t be happier when outdoors…so I can easily see her fly fishing as well.
Today I broke out one of my tents and we played inside it all morning. She was VERY excited about the tent and wouldn’t let get out of it for several hours. She even had to take her nap in it!
