    This is very timely, as I lost my daily carry in the river yesterday fishing. Had a CRKT Mt. Ranier. Solid little knife, good steel, held an edge well. Alas it appears they no longer offer that model. So, I’ll be researching the suggestions in this thread, keep ’em coming guys!

    Thanks, John. They are very much still “in development” so to speak. These are the first flies I’ve ever tied using a dubbing brush, so still a lot to learn there.

    Yeah, I’ve seen it in some extremes over the years. Right now, we are enduring a drought, though have had a little rain the last couple of days. It’s getting pretty hard on the fish, though.
