Showed this to a mate of mine, taking a guided trip to the Amazon. He immediately got his team to spin a few, they stuck some stingers in them…

I have to say that it is one mother of a fly when its on the hook… I always thought that Sailfish flies where monsters, but this is beast.

Cool…I’d be interested to know how that trip goes.

Beasts?  Naw these Hang Times are just baby’s man.

Now the doubles…them thar be beasts indeed!

It is cold (or colt as we say up here in the vernacular)…and snowing and dark.

    Glad to be aboard fellows.

I’m not a great photog like Lee Church, Timmy P. and Brian Porter, but I do manage to get a good snap shot or two every now and then.

So, I’ll post up plenty of good fish porn you betcha!

Funny thing is we have a remarkably diverse fishery in Musky Country – super stream trout, lakerun chrome out of Gitche Gumee and more warm water stuff than you could explore in ten lifetimes.

Wisco. is very picturesque…suprisingly so.  Plus lots of big savage feeshes.

Right now I’m longing for the feeling that I get looking at this shot from last summer…

Man, I can’t tell you how proud I am of you and this first film.  Your talents really amaze me!

To say that I am honored to have been a part of this project is an understatement.  You totally captured the Spirit of our Musky Tribe in this work…and to think that you are an emerging MD first (by day) and that this film thing is your pet project (by night)…WOW!

The Musky Chronicles will endure as a pure look into a quirky and esoteric world of chasing musky on a fly…at a time when this facet of the sport is still barely on the radar screen.

Just like the quote in the film…”They don’t get poems written about them like Atlantic salmon or steelhead…” yet:)

So I tip my hat and offer up a toast to a top shelf start to your Other Calling!
