Put my boat in the water today and I have to say I am completely pleased. The Evinrude E-Tec 25 hp is very fast on it. It is very stable and roomy.

Picked up my boat on Tuesday and it goes in the water this coming Tuesday.

The reason you are seeing so many fish is probably because the oil is pushing them towards the beach.  I am very saddened by this oil spill, it is a tragic shame and I hope BP is forced to pay and properly clean everything..  We as a country need to make an example out of BP so that other drilling companies will take the proper measures to prevent such things from happening again.  Also maybe this will create more funding for finding GREEN Energy.

Hey what’s the going rate on a Mitzi skiff these days?  There’s one for sale in Lakeview, Arkansas, for $12,000.  It has a Yamaha 50 hp 4 stroke that looks pretty new (mid-2000s), and the boat itself is in excellent condition.

I took a couple pics if anyone is interested.  I have *no idea* how a flats boat got to north Arkansas.

LR is running water late morning/early afternoon till 10 at night… has been for about 2 weeks.  It’s big water when it’s up, but staying downriver gives you a full day.  It’s fishing good.  Releases should stay this way for a while unless we absolutely get hammered with rain.  

Sure,,,I am going to the river in the morning, how much do you want to bet they release early in the morning?? ;D

I am having trouble with photobucket wanting to seriously downsize my pictures to only a thumbnail.  No matter what I do they are tiny.  Here is an example.
