Drew I have fished Hillabee Creek some. How long does it take to float/fish that piece of the Tallapoosa River? Where do you take out?

I may be a day late but … I have a pair of zippered Orvis Silver Sonics. I like them. For older men and in COLD weather a zipper is worth the extra dollars. My only complaint, and a small one it is, would be that the belt needs to be a couple of inches higher on the waders.

On Discovery’s Shark Week was a video of a guy with a tarpon on in Florida. As the fish was coming up to the boat a shark took all but the head. The guy said that it wasn’t as uncommon as you would think.

A comment on state records – Alabama’s record is over 9 lb. for a rainbow. We do not have a native trout population. The state only stocks one stream and the record wasn’t caught in that stream. The previous record was not caught in the stocked stream either. So another question, though maybe not following the fish on steroid theme, where did these fish come from?

The location has to be part of the punch line.

Make sure that you use a wire for your ground, not the ball and hitch. Attach the ground to the trailer frame and go through your trailer connector to the frame on your truck. Bad grounds account for a lot of issues on cars, trucks, and trailers.
