I’ll second the motion for the Scott G2 8’4″ 4wt.
Dusty – a friend of mine had the same problem and here is how he solved it: Have your wife tell you to sit and give you commands and make the dog watch you obey and then get rewarded. Sounds weird, but it worked perfectly for them. Personally, I’m very lucky that my dog is an equal opportunity employer/obeyer.

Hard to say. Newspaper I freelance for likes the file in jpg, at 300dpi and 8-inches in the widest dimension. They have no camera specs other than being able to output in that resolution (5 or 6 megapixel, higher the better). Staff all use Nikon D series bodies and bag o’ lenses :-). Magazines are going to have higher requirements–sure you will get some input there. Book publishers likewise.
Photographer’s Market gives you an idea of how wide a latitude some publishers have or not. Some just specifiy, “digital image.” Others say jpg and 300dpi. Some TIFF, 300dpi minimum, etc.
Lightroom is a real worksaver in managing and easily outputting the file in a wide variety of formats and resolutions. I’ve come to rely on it a lot. It hasn’t had a very good file manager, but I understand 2.0 corrects that some.

A friend of mine picked up a 4wt TFO that he loves. All of my rods are St. Croix, and I would not trade them for the world.
Aaron, seems a requirement to show the lure with the trebles dangling naturally, doesn’t it?
How bout trying some florist wire or small dowel to “suspend” the lure by balancing it on the “post” with a pinch of modeling clay? Then erase the post afterwards?
I am trying to recall how many times I wore my brand new completely empty vest on the ride up to the water and then didn’t even bring it with me when I hit the water.

It was good viewing here after the initial cloud bank moved out. I have a security light in my drive way I am going to have to get a light shield or switch for. It interfers way too often with my nighttime viewing.
There will be a pairing of Venus with a crescent moon again on New Year’s Eve this year.
Guys, this was cool. I did a 100% crop of the two planets. Venus is in the lower left, and Jupiter is in the upper right corner with perhaps two moons (in higher resolution you can see they have slightly longer trails to them than the stars).
Benjamin, neat that you can see it in LA. The Canon photography forum has some shots from Europe of Venus going behind the moon.
