Allan DozierMemberIf you are going to be traveling on 191 between Big Sky and YNP or West Yellowstone I recommend the Corral.

Allan DozierMemberThe Crystal Creek and Hellroaring pants are both Cloudveil but it was a little confusing about their differences.

Allan DozierMemberI recently bought some Cloudveil Crystal Creek pants, I wanted something lightweight, cool for walking and to use getting in and out of a driftboat.

Allan DozierMemberSteve, here is what I did for rod holders. The tube under the seat is 1″ PVC thin-walled pipe, I flared the end by heating it for a very short time with a heat gun and then flaring it with the neck of a wine bottle. I made a wood clamp to attach it under the seat. The holder for the rod handle is attached to the locker with velcro since I wasn’t sure how it would work and didn’t want to glue it beforehand. It all seems to work fine however.

Allan DozierMemberFunny this topic came up, I just purchased a 20′ Stiffy hybrid pole from Charleston Anger this weekend. It is quite light, I’ll see how it works out. I had been wanting a push pole for awhile but shipping one piece poles is a problem and I had a couple of people strongly recommend against ordering a two piece and joining it. The TFO sounded like a good possibility but I had planned on going to Charleston for awhile and knew they carried poles so I just waited. On a side note, we hired a guide, Ben Floyd, for the day and highly recommend him. We fished the creeks during low tide in the afternoon but in the morning decided to go out to the line of buoys and sight cast to cobia. We didn’t get any cobia but I did land this Amberjack on a 10 wt. 😀

Allan DozierMemberGrant, neutering a male dog will make him a better pet and while it will have a beneficial effect at any time it is better to do it in the same 4 to 6 months of age so he doesn’t develop any of the bad habits to begin with.

Allan DozierMemberYea, if I am at a party and folks find out I’m a vet, they all want to tell their dog stories.
