I use a White River SC IV 8′, 6″ 5wt that I use at the flood control dams, small creeks and small rivers here in the southern tier of New York. Occasionally I use a Shakespeare discount department store 5wt and the Meat Stick, questioned earlier.

    Small Streams-Sage VT2 7’9″ 3wt.
Medium Streams to large streams-Orvis Power Matrix 8’6″ 4wt.
    Lake Erie Steelhead-St Croix Avid 9’6″ 7wt

-I am however saving for either a Sage Z-Axis 8’6″ 4wt. or a Scott G2 8’8″ 4wt. I cast both of them and they are friggin sweet!!!
