Just read “Trout Bum” and “Another Lousy Day in Paradise” by Gierach.

Finished both within a day or two – fantastic reading as most of you probably already know.

I am waiting for 5 other books by Gierach I ordered some days ago.

Other than that I just re-read Bob Wyatts “Trout Hunting” for the 3rd time…

Chasing Greatness. A book about the 1973 U.S. Open (golf).

    Excellent book.

Just finished “Shin Deep – A Fly Fisher’s Love for Living Water” by Chris Hunt. It is a collection of essays much like Gierach. The author is a small stream guy and much of the stories revolve around chasing native cutties and brookies. He has an easy writing style and I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I finished it in a day. The last essay is about his Granddad and is the only fly fishing story I have ever read that actually brought tears to my eyes while I was reading.

Just finished River Music by Babb, Loved River by H.R.Jukes and Jerusalem Creek by Ted Leeson.

All well worth a read, enjoyed loved river and river music most.

A couple new books worth a read:

Opening Days by Richard Chiaponne. Mostly about Alaska.

Brook Trout Forest by Kathy Scott.

Ha, I just found this old thread with our new ‘Topics with Most Replies’ feature. Some great suggestions here.
