I saw this morning that UGA picked up its 10th arrest early Sunday morning in the form of a DUI. I think Richt’s days are numbered.
as far as this weekend is concerned for the weekend,
Alabama over Florida
LSU over TN
Kentucky over ole miss
& UGA getting its first win over ColoradoSep 28, 2010 at 3:10 pm #46131AnonymousInactive

Heading to Oklahoma to catch the OU vs. Texas. complete weekend with a golf cart and sideline tickets ;D BOOMER SOONER.Oct 1, 2010 at 1:50 am #46134
Jared, that could go either way, same as bama vs Fla.
You should have good weather, i just got back to GA from Tulsa and my co-workers are telling me that the last week or so have actually been bearable to be outdoors for more than 20 minutes.Oct 1, 2010 at 10:44 pm #46135
oops, I was misled , I am heading out in 2 hours on my way to Dallas area. I may not have committed to go had I known it was an away game. :-/Oct 4, 2010 at 2:37 am #46136
Great game as OU pulled it off. Tennessee , well it was bad, and Alabama put it on Florida
I say Alabama goes to the championship game, for sure.Oct 4, 2010 at 2:40 am #46137Tim AngeliMember
Watching Denard Robinson is like watching a video game. His stats are just down-right ridiculous.Oct 4, 2010 at 1:05 pm #46138

Ditto, Its good to see Michigan winning
I think that Georgia and Tenn both need to make some offensive personnel changes. That might be the toughest game of the week to pick but im leaning on UGA.Oct 15, 2010 at 11:20 pm #46139
off to Madison tonight to catch the Ohio State vs. Wisconsin, my buddy is the guest on college gameday in the morning.Oct 18, 2010 at 2:09 pm #46140
Interesting weekend, Florida lost, Nebraska lost, South Carolina lost and the SEC had its highest scoring game in history (sorry Zach). Who knows what the score would have been if Mallet had not taken a hit.Oct 18, 2010 at 2:26 pm #46141Zach MatthewsThe Itinerant Angler
Yeah the Hogs offense did everything it needed to do but the defense just could not stop Cam Newton.Oct 18, 2010 at 3:15 pm #46142Colin M.Member
I want to chime in on this one so bad, but i refuse to discuss college football until this ridiculous system for picking the championship game is done away with.Oct 18, 2010 at 4:33 pm #46143laurenMember
They need a play off so bad its not even funny…

yeah, It def. seems to be ratings driven. Bowl games don’t seem to be taken seriously anymore, probably for this reasonOct 19, 2010 at 1:44 pm #46145Tim PommerMember
Mallett’s backup for Heisman!Oct 19, 2010 at 1:55 pm #46146AnonymousInactive
Mallett’s backup for Heisman!
Yeah…many people are saying that the successful play of the Hogs backup might be a big hit to Mallet’s draft order.Oct 19, 2010 at 2:14 pm #46147Zach MatthewsThe Itinerant Angler
Mallett’s backup was slated to be the starter before Mallett transferred; he doesn’t suck. Arkansas just has some great receivers. However, Tyler Wilson did wind up giving the game away with a couple key interceptions late; he ain’t Ryan Mallett (although Mallett did the same thing in the Bama game against a LOT better secondary).
I think you were seeing evidence that Petrino is every bit the offensive genius he’s been made out to be. The hallmark of a great offense is the ability to plug and play with different players and remain excellent. Saban’s teams can do that. Meanwhile Urban Meyer was heavily reliant on one player (Tebow) and Houston Nutt used to have the same problem (McFadden and Matt Jones).
If Petrino stays at Arkansas he has every chance to mold them into an elite team. But he does need a new defensive coordinator. That defense still sucks.
PS Yes, I watch a lot of college football.Oct 19, 2010 at 2:50 pm #46148AnonymousInactive

It’s OK…I do too.
Not saying I agree…just regurgitating some stuff I read. I think Mallet is definately top 10 material.
I am just thankful the damn Buckeye’s lost.Oct 19, 2010 at 3:37 pm #46149

You hit a big one here. He has a reputation of hopping around.
I’m a bama fan and I don’t think that Saban is that loyal but that program really does not leave many wants for a coach to jump ship…..
As long as you win!
