Tamen coming to the states?

The Tamen idea is fun to read about but the asain carp are a very scary thought. Here in Mobile we are fighting against amazonian snails that are working their way to the Mobile Delta. This is pretty big considering that the mobile-tensaw delta is the second largest the US. So right now im not big on alien species. Just me though.

I wonder why they cannot take the asian carp an substitute it for other fish used to make products?

Now that man is a thinker, I like that idea alot better than lousianna trying to put it on the menu at restaurants.

Rabbits in Australia seemed like a good idea.
Flushing pet alligators down the toilet in New Jersey is a bad idea.
Pythons are eating everything in Florida.
Bullheads were a craze among the college crowd and then they were released. Damn, they have a voracious appetite.
I guess everything would be ok if we could get a handle on the most intrusive species of all.
No more screwing with Mother Nature. We are not smart enough to understand the consequences.
Did I mention salmon farms in Chile?
