Willie’s Roadhouse on Sirius is on most of the time. Love the original Country tunes. On road trips I’ll toss a few Corb Lund and Gretchen Wilson CDs in the truck.
To add to the country tunes, since I am old and can’t get into most of the new country artist, but one that I do like is Jamey Johnson, but I guess that is because he has more of an old country sound.
A collection of music while traveling and fishing is indeed a must for me. John Hiatt, Allman Bros., Eric Clapton, Doobie Bros., North Mississippi Allstars, Dwight Yoakum, Pat Metheny, just to name a few. Sing on.
It has to be Red Dirt / Texas Country: Turnpike Troubadours, Randy Rogers Band, Reckless Kelly, and Robert Earl Keen. The White Buffalo has also been in the mix lately.
So Ive gotten to the point where I mostly listen to Pandora for music these days. And when the signal goes out in the mountains, I switch over to podcasts or CDs.
