MemberMy first choice for traveling is usually the Allman Brothers, Van Morrison, Steely Dan…. Steve Miller’s Livin in the USA, Junior Brown (wife won’t listen to it!), Modern English, the Cure, lots of blues and a little bluegrass (wife won’t listen to that either!)

Rilo KileyMost played on my iTunes and I always have a few CD’s from them running in the CD player…. Mostly because they are stuck, and the fishing vehicle needs a new CD player. Although Sirius is calling my name.

MemberJust started getting into some of that bluegrass stuff, but I have listened to OCMS for a while…
My other pics would have to be some Blues Traveler, the Bart Crow Band, Brandon Jenkins, a TON of Cross Canadian Ragweed, the Doors, some Dwight Yoakam, Jason Boland, the Randy Rogers Band, Reckless Kelly, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Whiskey Myers, and a lot of some of the other stuff that’s already been mentioned.

Memberfigure i’d dig up this old thread in lieu of creating a new one.
friend gave me a copy of this band, blue grass rock n roll: 6 day bender. http://www.6daybender.com/
reminds me of old cracker + 16 horsepower
and as for listening to music on the stream thread, i’ve become a fan of putting my itouch in the front pouch of my waders for the long walks to and from the car.

Michael PhillippeMemberIt all depends on what you’re going after. You need music that will put your head in the right place. For example:
Chucking Streamers for big browns – Ricky Skaggs
Spring creeks with small dry flies – Yo-Yo Ma (Bach)
Serious road trips – Willie Nelson alternating with U2Jan 1, 2010 at 2:43 am #41986lee church
