Lee – the acceptance issue relates to the Photoshelter Collection which is different and seperate from each photogs personal archive. The Collection was put together to offer photography editors and buyers a more streamlined search of only the highest quality images.
Where anyone can purchase and set up a PS archive (doesn’t matter what quality), the collection are images that are deemed the best quality and saleability by the PS editors. Nothing different then having images accepted by Magnum, Getty, etc.

    John,
Excellent, I get that now but actually by just having a few images in the “collection” allows for a potential editor to kinda see your style right?

    Kendal,

PS is hooked up with a print company, can’t remember off the top of my head who it is, but what’s cool is that if someone orders a print from your PS gallery, the print company handles the whole deal and you collect the $$$. I did a pricing structure that ensured I’d make a decent profit from the print sale and let them handle all the printing and shipping needs.

    Roger that amigo –

I’d actually signed up for PS Archive a couple (or is that few) weeks ago now, and I’m in the process of integrating it into my website, so it appears to be part of my site. You pay a premium price for that functionality, but it’s worth it.

    🙂
