Another comment as well; a couple of weeks ago I was fishing to a pod of these fish, they were less than a mile above the lake.

I didn’t measure him due to all the camera work and not wanting to put additional stress on him but I know my net dimensions are 16″ and he stuck out about 6″ past that.
