* why wear a cameo shirt but wear a bright red fleece jacket?
* You might like a lanyard to put you nipper etc.? I recently made some myself.

The red jacket came off when I was fishing slicker water – I put it on shortly before I took that photo.
You took all pictures using a tripod? Wow, that’s pretty nifty!
My verdict is still out there about color of clothing. I do think that in very woody areas a drab coor would work best rather than shocking pink etc.

Great photos Zach! I especially like the sign that is from the United States Department of Agribulture. Is this a new department of our government that I am unaware of or was Cleatus doing there proof reading for them again?
Don’t get me wrong, Flatlander – I don’t think most trout fishing requires any particular clothing color at all.
The only problem with that argument is that it assumes trout behavior is monalythic respective to the stream.

In the early days of color photography and Kodachrome, National Geographic photographers carried a red hat and shirt with them on all their shoots to add a pop of bright color, this technique has been around for a long time.
I wasn’t offended by Flatlander’s comments and he gives an accurate restatement of the fishing rules I live by: a lot of other factors are more important than the color of the shirt you wear.
