I own both, and for me I like the G4’s. The G3 are good waders, but I’ve ripped the front pocket on mine getting my drift boat oars in there while rowing. The G4’s are nice for me in being able to zip up the pockets. The G3’s are easier to roll down to waist highs and do breath slightly better in the warmer months. So I guess it all depends on when and how your going to being wearing them.

That’s awesome, and it also brought back some thoughts that I had a couple of weeks of go guiding some troubled youth on the weber.
