H2 should be here this Fall (Oct 1?).

Sounds like a “jump” in tech is coming…

The guy at my local Orvis store told me Spring for the H2.

I was surprised, bc I’d expect them to come out before Xmas.

    *shrug*

Chernobyl ants and small foam beetles are so easy to tie. The fish like them as well. I use them when pond hopping and cold water fishing too.

Then there is this web page: http://hopperfishing.wordpress.com/
There are some nice hoppers there.

I love fishing Chernobyl ants! Tie them on a size 10 and shorten the legs and you can cast them with a 2wt and still present a meaty target.

    They just catch fish (bass).

You can’t see the fly because it’s stuck in the back of his tongue.

The real question is….are the prices going to come back down and level off near where they were pre fad.

It doesn’t look like it, does it?

You might have some fun fishing the surf around the Biloxi beaches with ultralight rods, I don’t really know. But there is almost sure to be some inshore wade-able fishing for reds/specs within a reasonable distance. I would talk to every local tackle shop you can find and use googlemaps, etc. There are plenty of fish near Biloxi, so there’s fun to be had… creek and river mouths, etc…
