    Hey Matt,
    I gotcha…I guess I kinda figured that’s what the beads were for, the trout and Dolly’s just sit in the tail outs and gobble eggs all day I’m sure.

    I’m feeling more and more at home on this site w/ every post!  This being my 5th year of post-secondary…4 undergrad, 1 med school.  I feel like I’ve gotten the fishing/studying combo down to a science.  I usually have to pay one of my buddies in half cases of beer for his notes or “befriend” some good looking women in the front-row…you know the type!  I’ve never been one to sit in lecture….we refer to it as “death by PowerPoint” not my style!

    Aaron, your story is all to familiar to mine…ROTC, O’Chem, etc.  Only exception is that I went/go to school in Duluth so my drive is a bit shorter!

    Y’all are great thanks for the thread Mike…good luck w/ your studies my man, its all about balance!

    This thread is what I needed thanks for everybody’s contributions!  Tim, just let me know if you want to take a trip to the Brule or even the Northshore…I was at the Knife Thursday.  We’re in the middle of a blizzard currently but my guess is to give it a week and we’ll be looking at some ideal flows and conditions.  

    I took the morning off of class on Wednesday and headed over to the Brule was much doing.  We pricked 2 fish and landed a lake run brown…little baby one!  It was the first goose egg of the season for me but its all part of the game!  It was getting too easy for a while there…normally I set the hook on 300 rocks and then all of a sudden one of those “rocks” takes off and gives me a fight.

    Anyways, keep those posts and pix coming…they’re great to listen to.
