Mark me down as another big Nor-Vise fan.  I started with a Thompson and graduated to a Regal.  I used the Regal for about 3 years and wanted a rotary so I bought a DynaKing Baracuda.  A friend wanted a Regal and he had a Nor-Vise to swap so I tossed in some money and ended up with a Nor-Vise.  As soon as I tried the Nor-Vise I was sold.  I had no learning curve and it was the best vise I’ve ever used.  I ended up selling the Baracuda because it was being wasted sitting on my bench.  I use the retractable bobbins and whenever I have to use a traditional bobbin, it is a major inconvienence.  The dealings I’ve had with Norm have been just as good as the products he sells.  Great guy, super products.
