Mike do white bass eventually make their way all the way up the Hooch to Morgan Falls?  I had only ever heard of a run on the north end of the river, out of Lanier.

The whites are much more tolerant of the summer water conditions on the lake than are the striper, and the majority head back down after the spawn is over.

I like the farthest upstream you can get on Maple  Creek in late March and early April for casting to West Point crappie. Like Mike said for the rest of the year.
