    If you get out of Cancun there is very little crime, Playa is great and I will be after bonefish in feb on Cozumel. Diving and fly fishing not too bad. Like anything else or any place, if you invite crime it might be forced to show up. However I am in Playa or Cozumel a few times year and crime is the last thing I would worry about. Just be a smart traveler. BR
