Zach, qeustion about your yellowstone trip

I’ve been doing some thinking and have decided that not this upcoming summer, but next when I graduate college I will treat myself to a camping trip in Yellowstone National Park. I live in New Jersey and would fly out, then rent a car. I just order Craig Mathews guide to yellowstone. Anyway my question for you was if you could give me any tips on planning the trip, where to go when I get there, and am I planning to far in advance?

Thanks for the info guys. This will definetly be camping only trip. So I guess I will need to rent most of my gear when I get out there? What size rod would you guys recomend?

I thnk I would definetly rather do some fishing where I have to hike to smaller waters. My main objective is to catch some cutthroat trout while Im there.
