I made the mistake of buying a Simms 3XDry River Tek Guide shirt.
Though it was well made and fit great, it seems to be just another shirt but with added hype!
I wore it on a float yesterday and before we shoved off the topic of weather came up and we all agreed it might get a little wet. So I open my big, fat trap and tell everyone ‘this shirt is also a rain jacket’! They were in awe!
Me and my big mouth! The rain came and I looked like a drowned rat! I might just as well worn an old, cotton T-shirt in that rain. I wish there was ‘truth in advertising’ that applied to shirts!
Zach, don’t you know those simians at Simms? Let ’em know their 3XDry ain’t!Alright then, might I suggest anyone considering one of those shirts just take Scotch Gard to their favorite T-shirt?
They say it sheds water and it didn’t. It either does or it doesn’t and the way they put it…
