It is looking grim out west…
Wonder how the southern rockies are faring? Anybody have any reports? I was possibly looking at a trip to northern New Mexico or southern Colorado later this summer.
Water conditions here in the Ozarks ought to be very good especially on the White River tailwaters the last half of this summer. Lake levels are at normal now, and the Corps is just finishing some flood releases on Bull Shoals and Norfork tailwaters this week. They should release fair amounts of water for power everyday in the afternoons and evenings the rest of the summer which is good for the fishery. August looks good, September better. If we get 10-12 hours shut down time at night from Bull Shoals powerhouse that makes for some good river hopping conditions for wade anglers during the day as well as good drift boat water downriver.
