    does anyone have experience with this line? It will be on an 8wt TFO BVK and be an all purpose rod (because I only own one

    I would recommend these lines highly, they cast really well, are good in the wind, do NOT tend to tangle, and, they handle well through a wide range of temperatures. I’ve been using them pretty much exclusively for my SW fishing for six or seven years and the clear intermediate tip is what I use most for striper fishing, (I’m a wade fisherman, so getting very deep is not my thing). The floater is a good line too, I use it on my six weight for small estuary type stuff and have also used the floaters for bone fishing. All the BTT lines run heavy compared to AFTMA weights, but I think just about all SW lines do.

    They roll cast fine, just like the regular TT lines, they’re just stiffer and have a shorter head.
