First the WTB or Trade for an Orvis 8′ 3/2 or 2/2 varnished rod, i.e. non impregnated from the early Equinox series, with bag and tube if possible, it’s been a dream for a long time. PM or email if you have one to consider.

I honestly don’t know that answer but will contact Cortland Customer Support to see what they have in answer to that tomorrow and let you know.
A check on the Cortland Reel side of the house gives the capacity of the spool you asked about as Capacity: WF6-8F + 140yd 20# Micron with a 3 1/2″ diameter reel this is the same as your reel, from what I see the difference is the handle on yours is probably wooden the the handle on this is black plastic, emblem, color etc all appear the same I can take photos if you need some. I have been searching the planet for a orvis battenkill large arbor 1V 4spoke #9 weight spare spool in black but any color will do. Can you help me out?
