Andrew Wright and I spent the day in north Georgia fishing.  We went up early in the morning and spotted some very respectable trout.  By early afternoon the trout finally woke up and we managed to land a few.  What a great way to spend a lazy weekend – I love the fall.

We had access to private farm land and the river all to ourselves

He also landed a smaller but very good looking bow (hint: if you look closely at the fish you can see the reflection of Andrew smiling, ha)

All good things come to end . . .

Bob – that water is known to have little “pellet hatches” 😉  It’s not prostitution if you don’t pay, hahahaha.

Tim – That was my first time taking the DSLR in the water.  We were pretty nervous about dropping the coin in the drink.  I agree the fish pics are less than ideal and my goal over the next year is to hone in on the lens/flash/settings for on-water pics and also the angles of composition.  I often think about that great shot you posted with the Musky (? or Pike) what a great on-water shot.

Seriously though . . . It is pretty scary wading through the river with a DSLR.
