Wow, guys, this is just really cool.

I just got a new Nikon SB-600 from my local store for full price (I like to help them out).

This is lit *only* by the on-camera flash and the SB-600 from above.

    Rear synched.

Nice shots zack. That’s a great feature of the sb 600. I just bought a used F100 and plan to buy an sb 600 for it soon. I’ve been shooting with an F3HP for a long time and finally stepped up to auto focus. I just wish the thing had mirror lock up and didnt have to run off the batteries in bulb – I shoot a lot at night. I’m thinking of getting a D200 soon, but for now i’m going to stick to my old school roots of film. great site by the way, its good to see fisherman into photography.

I can log in ok but when i try to make a post it wont except me, any suggestions?

nope – no mirror lock up. as far as i can tell they(nikon) did this so folks would buy the F5, but who needs a $2000 film camera? good lookin’ cat by the way. tippet – our cat is in the hospital tonight and me the wife are praying for her.
have you had any experience w/ the sb-30. I was thinking of getting one for my f100 as well as the sbb600. just to have a smaller flash to use when fishing and what not. for fill flash. i m trying to figure out how to jury rig a diffuser to that little thing. I hear you are in law school in chattanoogavegas. when do you graduate? I have a couple lawyer buddies here if you need an internship and a girlfriend of mines dad is an attorny in chattanooga if your interested. good luck,
