Though flyfishing provides some of the best scenery of any hobby, outdoors or not, adding the other half of the population into the mix might make it even better…which might make it easier to let the woman you could find catching fish out of your favorite spot easier to accept.   😉

I agree with what Lauren is saying bd. I would much rather see a gal out fly fishing then some dude! Plus almost all of the women that I have guide have been super enjoyable to have in my raft. They are great students and don’t let their egos get in the way of learning something new!

As a fly fishing instructor who has introduced many ladies to the sport, as well as my wife and two daughters. My best advice is to pick up and read a copy of “Fly Fishing from A Women’s Perspective” by Joan Wulff.
