Went for a stroll along the beach yesterday evening with my daughter. Caught some of this action in the days last light. As a result I had boost ISO to 1,000 @ 1/800th and accept slight underexposures. On the upside the light and lack of breeze made for some nice reflections.

Not at all sure I approve of it, but it is like your bird. 😉

Love those pics by the way.

Nice work! I keep telling you that you need to write a book, at the least a website with tutorials. I know I would be on it all day long! Whenever you set the ISO that high, what can be done to help limit noise, or do you just have to accept some because of lighting conditions?

You have to accept some noise Dusty.
Some bodies control it better than others. The simplest factor is the size of the sensor. The larger the sensor, the larger the photosites,
