    Sorry I can’t give my opinion on the 3 weight, but I can give you my feedback on a 8’3″ #4.

    Hi-
    For the last two years I’ve fished glass and boo almost exclusively – however, I have the 7’9″ 3 wt. LT that is one of the finest, if not the finest graphite 3 wt. I’ve ever fished – has a wonderful combination of smoothness, finesse, yet a little backbone when you need it. From a quiver of way too many rods, it’s one of only 3 graphite rods I’ve kept. It’s a great rod.

    The 8’9″ 5 is sweet I’ve heard that the 3 is a really nice rod. Winston make a great rod no matter what it is.
