got the opportunity to get out and fish for wild native brook trout and streambred rainbows. what a blast! here are some pics for everyone’s enjoyment. this is definitely something i can get used to. we probably hiked a good 10 miles throughout the day.
Very nice, Paul. I’ve been doing a lot of that sort of fishing myself lately. Small creeks in the Sierras for brookies and ‘bows. Looks like a real nice gem you’ve got there. Brookies are my favorite (unless some other trout is at the end of my line) and I’ve chased them each of the last Saturdays. They can be so very eager to take a dry. 🙂 Thanks for taking us along.
