     I view the smallmouth bass as our version of the wild cutthroat trout.

    Smallmouth are smarter.

    Zach,

    Great writing. Watch out Gierach. My feet still hurt, and I could almost feel the drops of dew dripping down my neck as you sat perched above the cave mouth. These are the times we all dream about and long for, and even if it’s just getting to be there through someone else’s experiences and writings, it seems real enough to get us by.
