Weekend Fishing?

I had a buddy in and together with Lauren we hiked and fished the Bald River Canyon, a tributary of the Tellico, and got skunked, then fished the Holston and caught a bunch of stockers.
I recorded an audiolog for the podcast from this trip which will be pretty cool.
Hooked a muskie the size of a VW but it spit the hook at me and grinned as it swam off. Caught several Smallmouth.
Met some buddies & headed down state WV. Fished the Smoke Hole C&R area of the South Branch of the Potomac. Started strong with 2 bows within 15 minutes. Caught on size 16 black stone nymph.
Water was cold, clear & very low. Had to cover lots of water to find the fish. Well worth it though.
