Our TU chapter is going to the Watauga at the end of May. I have never been there .I am pulling my Clackacraft and could use some info. We are staying at a cabin setup called Bee cliff Cabins. regards
regJohn and Norrine can set you up with the shuttle person, Kelly Reep. You will love the cabins, right on the river and lots of wading right out the door of the cabins. You will be floating the Quality Zone/Caddis Riffle section based on generation. It has been fishing good, caddis coming off everyday. The end of May will be back to normal hatches, some caddis, BWO’s, cranefly’s, midges and the occasional sulphur.
