It only applies if you are fishing? I’ll go on the record as saying that is ridiculous. I wonder where they draw the line, can a guide who doesn’t catch fish for his clients use felt? It’s mostly mud and pebbles up there for me so I’m already using Vibram anyway but I’ll be interested to see how strict they are about this. I imagine some troopers will see through it and/or not care while others might decide to run with it. It’s going to surprise and piss a lot of people off if it’s enforced that’s for sure but it sucks the worst for lodges and other businesses, who can’t afford to be on the wrong side of any law, and now have to replace all their loaner/rental boots and boot-fits..
