My addiction seems to be growing!  I don’t think that I’ll be patient enough to wait until the water in my favorite smallmouth rivers warms enough for comfortable wet wading.  :-/  For most of the year, I wet wade piedmont rivers and Florida flats, so I won’t be giving my waders a lot of use.  I don’t see dropping a bundle on a pair + boots – the wish list is long and the dollars short!

Any suggestions for comparatively cheap but well made (yah – good luck) waders?

Also, given diseases decimating the Shenandoah valley rivers’ smallmouths, I think it’s time to lose my old felt soled boots and go to Vibram.  The Cloudveil 8X boots look pretty cool – come with 2 pair of insoles, thin for waders, thick for wet wading – anyone seen them?

((Poor Harry Murray!  First a rust beetle kills off all of the ancient hemlocks along his brookie waters and now comes the plague killing off the Shenandoah River smallmouths – bad times in my old stomping grounds.))
