    Zach,

Interesting.  For the first time I got a message on my Macintosh that says the “certificate is not verified” when I clicked on the fly fishing discussion section.  I clicked “don’t trust” and it took me to the discussion section but said other message like site is unverified.  This is not usually the type of message or behavior one gets on a Mac and it has never happened on the IA site for me before.  Don’t know if it’s related but thought I would post.

I saw it too, but I was refreshing a bunch of tabs at once and wasn’t sure where it came from.

I’m reloading windows on my usual net surfing my PC as I type. Worst attack I’ve ever had! Glad it wasn’t my home PC with all my Images.

Zach, sorry to hear about this. You mentioned that this screwed up your Firefox some…I am a Mac user of many years, but have no clue on virus and Java and such. Go figure. Anyway, if this is something which just viewing messed up your Firefox at work, is there anything you know of which will affect Safari? Or does that seem to be a Windows issue?

I do have Firefox but rarely use it on the on my MacBook. Used it a lot on the G4 in the past.

I never noticed anything amiss and always go in through the main index. Have not checked the Photoblog in a few days (which I love by the way – you take some really cool pics).

    Darrin –

I noticed that the Firefox on the Mac application reported a new applet running called ‘MagicApp Applet.’

Sorry for sounding like a broken record if I’ve already mentioned this here, but I’m a huge fan of the NoScript extension for Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722

It allows you to build a ‘whitelist’ of sites that are allowed to run any sort of script in your browser-
