    THESE!  Have changed everything.  

    I saw a ton of guys wearing these Vibram toe shoes on the boats this past weekend and I also see them at the gym in sportier styles.  So I bought some for my saltwater trip this past weekend.  They are super (duper) comfortable in the boat and killer for wet wading in the surf.  They weigh nothing and pack light.  In a nutshell, they are the most comfortable fishing shoe possible – in my opinion better than Crocks and Keens, etc.  They never left my feet and held up well to any and all conditions.

    Buy a pair!

    Some of the guys that I ride mountain bikes with wear these things while running triathalons.

    Are the uppers made of Neoprene? If so do they ferment your feet so that you have to leave them outdoors?

    Do you think the heels are thick enough to prevent stone bruises. My crocs didn’t this summer. Those things hurt for a long, long time. I’m still having pain from it.
